Last week I got to meet the newest addition to the Hubner family! Big sister Maylin is absolutely enamored with her new little sister. Little Marin was SUCH a good sleeper and did amazing for her newborn session. Major bonus points to having a wood stove going right next to my favorite spot - their antique chair nestled in some great window light next to their Christmas tree.

About a week ago I had the pleasure of photographing this fun crew down in Franklin Indiana. I always love photographing new spaces and had so much fun with everyone as we explored the Fine Arts building at Franklin College.

On Friday, I joined Elaine and Luis on Indianapolis’ near North side where they have lovingly transformed a house into a beautiful home. While Elaine was pampered and had her makeup done by the wonderful J. Marie Makeup, Luis set up a delicious looking cake from the awesomely named bakery the Cake Hole downstairs with a fun display complete with photos from their engagement session, lovely florals, and other fun details including their envy-worthy cake knife/server set.

It always strikes me how quickly little ones grow up, particularly when I get to see them every 3 months for milestone portrait sessions. Elise is definitely no exception. It seems like only a few weeks ago that I was photographing her snoozing away in her nursery. She is growing up on me but is still such a cutie with those adorable cheeks and all those expressions!

WAAAAAAAAY back in the fall we took some family portraits! I’ve been trying to get these up on the blog to share them but it’s been a wild and crazy ride though autumn and the start to the holiday season.
A big thanks to my dad, the guy that gave me my love of photography when I was a kid for taking these photos for us!
Joe + Gretchen = 4! | In home newborn photographer
Last week I got to meet Joe and Gretchen’s newest addition, baby Jameson. He was so curious about everything that we were doing so he decided to wait until I headed out for his morning nap. Awake newborns are totally fine with me as long as they’re not mad and he was happy to hang out and see what was going on!

It’s been about a week since Caitlin and Dustin tied the knot at the stunning Saint Joan of Arc just north of Downtown Indianapolis. They chose the stunning Catholic church for their wedding ceremony not only for it’s gorgeous stained glass and paintings but also because they are parishioners there. After an emotional faith centered ceremony, Dustin, Caitlin and their awesome bridal party headed downtown to Monument Circle on a trolley for some photos with the monument all decked out for the upcoming holiday season. Lights were glowing and the crew was full of laughs and even stopped to shotgun a beer!

Day 2 of our snow minis was just as much fun as the first day! We got to see a few new faces as well as some familiar ones! Bonus points for starting the day off above 24 degrees(unlike day one). I absolutely loved seeing the reactions from all the kiddos and pups getting to see snow from our crazy snow machine and had a blast photographing each of these families.
