WAAAAAAAAY back in the fall we took some family portraits! I’ve been trying to get these up on the blog to share them but it’s been a wild and crazy ride though autumn and the start to the holiday season. If you follow us on Instagram, you may have heard that our crazy dog Ripley pulled a Houdini and escaped our yard chasing a cat/squirrel/rabbit/etc. and was hit by a car. She was very lucky and did not have any broken bones and is now recovering well. She’s walking around, getting on and off the couch on her own and overall, just doing surprisingly well.
After all that nonsense, I am excited to share my family portraits with you all! A big thanks goes out to my dad, the guy that gave me a love of photography when I was a kid, for walking around with us and taking these photos. Malcolm is, as you know, a toddler so he was kind of a turd for some of them but we still pulled some good ones out! At this point I should mention that we tried family portraits a different day at a different location and he was just not having it so we went out to Malcolm’s favorite place, G-G and G-Dad’s and just took a walk.
