September 15th was the 9th annual Labapalooza out at Mallow Run Winery presented by Love of Labs Indiana. There were so many fun things at the event from live music throughout by Heartstone Crossing, a classic rock band, and dog games led by Jane Page of Famous Feet Pet Sitting and Dog Walking and Kevin Knartzer of Tails Up Paws Down Dog Training.

I am SO excited to share this wedding with everyone! Anne and Kirby are a wonderful nerdy couple with a deep shared love of games, music, books, libraries and other wonderful nerdy things. For their wedding it was only appropriate that they exchange heartfelt vows at the Indianapolis Central Library. The two met and bonded over books and Anne is a librarian herself so there truly was no better location. Making their day so uniquely theirs, Anne and Kirby opted to have tons of board games in lieu of dancing at their reception.

I have known Nico(Nicole) for about 10(?) years(is that possible) now and David for almost as long. They are partners in crime, a perfect match, nerds, dog(and cat) lovers, and all around awesome people that I am honored to call my friends. 2 years back, Nicole stomped me at a Star Realms Tournament at GenCon and it's only fitting that we included a little bit of the card game in their engagement session. I at least had the good sense to stay out of the game to avoid further embarrassment from either party.
