Meg and David chose the stunning Columbia Club right on Monument Circle for their wedding day. They had some stunning art deco elements to include one of the styles they both love as well as some fun geeky gems like the chocolate wands and Harry Potter glasses perched at their spots at the head table. The two wanted a romantic and fun evening with the circle of lights shining through the many windows of the Columbia Club. I loved the chance to head out into the heart of downtown Indianapolis for a quick photo with our big ‘tree’ between the drizzles. I am a subscriber to the belief of rain on a wedding day - the old saying is that a wet knot is harder to untie so rain on your wedding day has long been considered a symbol of good luck. The rain certainly couldn’t dampen anyone’s spirits with all the fun going on inside throughout Meg and David’s big day. From their tearful moment before the ceremony through all the fun dancing at their reception, Meg and David’s wedding was one for the books.
Congratulations on a perfect day and thank you so much for trusting us to photograph your big day. <3
