As many of you already know by now, I LOVE snow! I come by it honestly - my mom is always the first to text me every year when she sees a little snow flake float by the window, even late into January when Indiana turns into a frozen wasteland. That’s the nice thing about snow though, it brings beauty and quiet to the sad greys that otherwise occupy the landscape. There was very little quiet but lots of beauty last weekend as we started off our snow mini sessions though! I had so much fun photographing all the couples, kiddos and families that came out to play! There were loads of laughs, snowballs thrown and a little sass too. Some of my favorite moments were letting my grandmother(we call her Mawmaw) throw snowballs straight at my grandfather, the snowball fight between Lauren and Josh for their anniversary session, Miles telling the snow to talk to the hand(I don’t think he’s quite ready for winter), and one of my oldest(there has to be a better way to say that?) friends climbing onto a sled with her adorable little lady and crazy husband for a pretend sled ride that was still scary even though they stood still(if you know Alex, you’ll understand).
Thank you so much to everyone that came out, new faces and familiar ones, and made the snow mini sessions a blast and a huge success!
