Kirby + Anne = Married! | Indianapolis Central Library wedding photographer
I am SO excited to share this wedding with everyone! Anne and Kirby are a wonderful nerdy couple with a deep shared love of games, music, books, libraries and other wonderful nerdy things. For their wedding it was only appropriate that they exchange heartfelt vows at the Indianapolis Central Library. The two met and bonded over books and Anne is a librarian herself so there truly was no better location. Making their day so uniquely theirs, Anne and Kirby opted to have tons of board games in lieu of dancing at their reception. They even opted to have a first game rather than a first dance using a very special set of cards from when they first met(HOW CUTE IS THAT?!?!). As a big board gamer myself it was so cool to see a big table full of games and guests choosing their favorites to play with each other. It was almost it’s own mini-convention with all the great games going on at their reception! To help with ideas for games, the couple even put together a fabulous wedding favor including a commemorative rule book with rules for several games, a die, pencil to keep score and a meeple in their wedding colors!
Making their day even more special was Anne’s mother. She made not only the bride’s gorgeous dress, but also the vest and bow tie for the groom as well as some other lovely pieces throughout the day.
A huge congratulations goes out to Anne, Kirby and their families on a wonderful day. It may have been a little drizzly but when you’ve got love and books, the weather doesn’t really matter. <3
