GenCon 50 cosplay sessions and review | Indianapolis nerd photographer

After taking a year off from GenCon, it was a HUGE pleasure to come back this year and start off Saturday morning with a few cosplay sessions. We had 4 really awesome costumes down by the canal. Starting us off was Jay with his Ragnaros cosplay from World of Warcraft. We decided to do the photos up at the Eiteljorg museum to take advantage of their awesome red stone surrounding the museum. After that, I headed just down the street to meet up with Brat at a huge plot of wildflowers for her session. Brat made her cosplay after the character the awesome Gruff team made of her for winning a tournament last year! Just a little farther down, I met up with the lovely Sidney for her Ariel Jedi mash-up that is oh-so-perfect and jam packed with nostalgia for me. I also have to say the green lightsaber is a perfect choice for the lovely underwater Disney Princess. Last, but not least, Hannah met me down at the White River State park to get a few photos of her super-fabulous Noface cosplay in the field of trees there. We then did a short walking session back to the awesome wildflowers. I had so much fun with this crew and hope everyone loves their photos as much as I loved the cosplays themselves. GenCon 50 was awesome and I snagged a few photos of Cardhalla and the can't-miss-out-on GenCon cupcake from The Flying Cupcake. We took the rare opportunity when it presented itself to grab a skyline at night photo on our walk back too.
Enjoy!
