Hi! Thanks for visiting my website! I'm Brittany, the photographer here at Brittany Erwin Photography. I am a photographer based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. I offer a wide range of portrait sessions to fit your family! As a major geek, I love to have fun and can appreciate the awkwardness that being in front of a camera can bring. So, whether you're getting married, eloping, or having me document your family, I will make sure your portraits are always laid back, as much fun as possible, and when you forget how your hands work, I'll tell you what to do.
This crazy crew is one that has put up with me since way back in the olden days when we rode in buggies pulled by dinosaurs.
I always love the chance to photograph families that I’ve had the chance to get to know over the years, and this crew is one I’ve known for many years now and photographed them all the way back at their engagement session in Speedway.
Spring is finally here(for today) so it’s officially time for spring photos! It hasn’t been QUITE warm or green enough outside for sessions until this week so when I got to catch up with the Russo family, we did it in a sweet studio out in Speedway.
It’s hard to believe we are already into NOVEMBER! I am so excited to pause the editing rush of this gorgeous(long lived) fall we have had this year to share this fun family!
I am sure that her mom and dad will agree with me that this year has gone so fast! It doesn’t seem possible that it’s already been a year since I met this sweet little lady!
I have always loved a quirky and unique wedding and I have seen my fair share of fun and quirky weddings, from the sweet and simple backyard to the extra quirky haunted house I’ve seen a lot of great locations and even a hearse.
Fall is definitely one of my favorite wedding seasons, especially out at the gorgeous 3 Fat Labs in Greencastle. Lily and Kieffer really played into fall and the fall colors came through for them and made their day absolutely stunning from start to finish.
Surrounded by gorgeous nature, 3 Fat Labs was the PERFECT location for Kenna and TJ to tie the knot. The ceremony took place outside, surrounded by a gorgeous landscape just starting to show the colors of fall.
When you have the chance to get married on a day with a song about it, how could you NOT?! Abby and Carter did just that and tied the knot on one of the most perfect September days we’ve had all year.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Tia for several years now and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to photograph her and Keegan’s big day!

Just over a week ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Shannon, Dustin, and their sweet girls for their elopement downtown at the Indiana State House.
Right before the big snow rolled in before Christmas, I joined Olivia, Whitney and some of their close family for a cozy and intimate wedding ceremony on the top floor of the stunning State House among the gorgeous glass ceiling, ornate woodwork and ALL THAT MARBLE.
Marisa and Mingda chose the lovely Lincoln Park in Zionsville for their intimate wedding ceremony including only close friends and family. The park was absolutely perfect with a perfect mix of shade from the surrounding trees and flowers right across the street from downtown Zionsville.

I don’t know if I’ve ever met a boy that didn’t like monster trucks, but Dylan was ALL about them! Dylan was SO excited to share all of his monster trucks at his fourth birthday session.
For my son’s 9th birthday portraits, we wanted to do something that reflected his interests and personality. I was fortunate enough to have a studio one day and he was excited to get to make his own choice of backdrop throughout the session.
